In the last video & post, we discussed the 1st part of the book “Management in Today’s Workplace”, where we discussed the Nature of Management, Management History & Decision-Making. In this video, the basics of management mentioned above are extremely crucial in today’s management.
Brief Explanation of Basics of Management:
1.Managing External Environment & Organizational Culture:
The external environment denotes the conditions within which the organization works which generally can’t be controlled or altered, such as the political, social, demographic & economic environment. Managing the external environment effectively by carefully monitoring the environment, collecting information and analyzing it is very important in effective management. These elements will be discussed in one of the channel’s books, which is the “Strategic Management, 2017 – Fred & Forest R. David, Pearson, U.S.A”. With respect to organizational culture, we discussed it before in a previous book, which is: Organization: Behavior, Structure & Processes”. The book is fourth in the 1st year of the channel.
2.Managing in the Global Environment:
A lot of global products are extremely popular around the world, such as Iphone, Galaxy, Gillette … The innovation of these products is a result of effective global management, which is one of the important managerial basics nowadays.
